DTT changes in Poland

The Polish National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has given its backing to a proposed re-arrangement of the country’s DTT platform according to Broadband TV News.
Quoting Satkurier as the source it goes on to say that the commercial stations Polsat, TVN and TV Puls will move from the first multiplex, where they are currently located together with the public broadcaster’s TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info and commercial station TV4, to the countries second multiplex, which is still to be launched.
Polsat, TVN and TV Puls would be FTA on the second multiplex, while TV4 which is also likely to move to the second multiplex, would be one of four paid-for services on it.
The four resulting vacant spots in the first multiplex will then be put up for offer by other interested parties.
