Tender for 2nd DTT multiplex in August?

According to the President of the Office of Electronic Communication (UKE), Anna Streżyńska, the invitation for the Tender to operate the second DTT multiplex could be released as early as August. If this is the case then the DTT multiplex could be launched by early 2010.
The Tender Document which has already been agreed by the UKE must be approved by the broadcast regulator KRRiT.
The winning operator will be able to select three services to operate on the multiplex, with the next three chosen by competition between broadcasters, with one other available for regional programmes.
