KRRiT announces DTT services

Broadcast regulator KRRiT has announced the range of services that viewers will be able to access on Polands first DTT multiplex, which is expected to be launched in September 2009.
Three services from the public service broadcaster TVP, TVP1, TVP2 and TVP Info, will be made available as well as one service from the leading commercial analogue broadcasters, Polsat, TVN, TV Puls, and TV4. As previously reported MPEG-4 (H.264 AVC) compression will be used.
A second national multiplex with commercial services and a third multiplex with limited coverage are expected to be launched before the analogue switch off is completed by the 31st July 2013.
