DTT Set Top Box study

Portuguese communications regulator Anacom is backing the consumer protection body DECO to carry out comparative tests on digital-terrestrial TV STB’s.
The comparative study will start in November and carry on for 18 months. During this time
DECO will provide information to consumers about the price, quality and functionality of STB’s available on the market and publish it on the websites deco.proteste.pt and anacom.pt.
The DTT network currently covers about 86% of the country’s population and ASO is planned for the 26th April 2012
