Portuguese DTT tender regulations published
The government has now published the regulations applicable to the public tender for DTT licences within Portugal according to Rapid TV News.
Applicants now have forty days to present their proposals for the first call for tenders.
Licences for five multiplexes will be on offer in the first call for tenders, two national and three regional. Both Freeview and Pay-TV licences will be issued.
The second call for tenders is expected to be in August.
In a separate news item from advanced-television.com Zon Multimedia, which had previously been excluded from tendering, can now participate in the process providing that it is does so as a minority stakeholder in a consortium.
