TVR1 and TVR2 awarded DTT licences

The National Audiovisual Council has awarded DTT licences to two of the countries public channels TVR1 and TVR2.
They are expected to join the five leading commercial channels, Pro TV, Antena 1, Prima TV, Kanal D and Realitatea on the countries first DTT multiplex.
The multiplex operator has still to be chosen by ANACOM but is expected to be the national transmission company Radiocommunicatii.
