DTT services tender opened

Romkatel and France’s TDF have signed up for a DTT services tender being organised by Romania’s National Society for Radiocommunications (SNR) reports Broadband TV News. Quoting Media Expres it says that the contract is worth an estimated €833,000 and will be valid for a year following the award.
SNR operates two analogue networks used to relay the public channels TVR1 and 2. Switching them to digital will cost around €50-60 million. Romkatel is the exclusive representative of Kathrein in Romania.
