Launch costs for DTT announced

Liviu Nistoran, the president of the country’s National Communications Authority (ANC) has said that the cost of launching DTT services in Romania is likely to reach €300.
The quote was in an article in Media Express which went on to say that he expected that one or two companies would be capable of operating the service, that the €300 was the maximum cost and that cheaper solutions could be available.
Romania is set to launch an MPEG-4 based DTT service sometime next year.
