DTT tender could be in 2009

Speaking exclusively to Broadband TV News, the head of the Control Department of the country’s National Broadcasting Council (CAN), Christian Ivanciovici, said that a tender for DTT services could be issued in 2009.
Romania will eventually have up to eight DTT multiplexes according to Ivanciovici but this could only happen after the country’s audio visual law is amended, a process which should occur during the next 12 months.
