Slovak DTT channel offering to increase

The country’s recently launched DTT platform is likely to be joined by TV Markiza.
A representative of network operator Towercom is reported as commenting that CME-owned TV Markiza is already one of its main customers.
Slovakia’s first multiplex launched last month has five channels which are, STV1, STV 2, Trojka, Joj and Joj Plus.
Before any change can take place the necessary legislation has to be enacted allowing the channel line up in the first multiplex to be amended.
