DTT good for advertisers
The appeal of Spanish thematic channels to attract audiences on DTT has increased the expectations of networks such as Grupo Planeta’s Antena 3 and Mediaset’s Telecinco to tap a seam of advertising, reports Rapid TV News.
Media analysts are recommending that advertisers pay more attention to the two media groups saying that they have good prospects with expected growth of around 12%.
One of the key factors for these recommendations is the improvement of the Spanish TV advertising market which by the end of January 2011 showed a year on year growth of 5%, compared to a 4.5% growth during the same period in 2010.
