Telemadrid launches DTT HD service

Telemadrid, the Spanish regional broadcaster, has started an HD broadcast service on the DTT platform. It began testing the technology in February by broadcasting the Champions League’s matches as well as the BBVA football league. In future the company intends to adapt progressively to all HDTV programming.
Other regional broadcasters providing HD/DTT services include Televisión de Cataluña (TVC), TV Aragón, and Canal Sur in Andalucia.
