DTT penetration 80%

Impulsa TDT reported in the February newsletter that DTT penetration reached 80.8% of households by the end of January 2010.
Penetration was highest in Aragon where it reached 88% closely followed by
Catalunya with 86%. DTT services are available to 98.35% of the population.
December 2009 was the best month for DTT sales with 1.36 Million receivers sold during the month.
Analogue switch-off has now been confirmed by the Government as taking place on the 30th March 2010.
The last and third phase of the analogue switch off begins on the 10th March and will affect 30 million people including those in Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona.
