RTVE to launch HD on DTT

The Spanish public service broadcaster RTVE plans to launch an HD service called TVEHD on its second multiplex. The multiplex will have a coverage of 90% and be deployed nationwide by the time of ASO* on the 3rd April 2010.
TVEHD is already available in Valladolid.
*News from other sources indicates that the ASO date may be brought forward a few days and that this is being considered by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce in discussions with broadcasters. The plan calls for ASO to be completed by the 30th March so that it will not clash with the Easter weekend holiday.
