FENITEL encourages prompt conversion orders

The National Federation of Telecommunication Installers (FENITEL) are warning the owners of housing units with collective antennas not to wait until the last moment to ask for their antennas and distribution systems to be converted for digital operation. They say that if customers leave conversion until the last month it will be difficult for antenna installers to manage the anticipated workload. According to reports the problem is greatest in Barcelona and Madrid.
Despite issuing the warning the number of collective antenna systems is already said to be high.
Analogue switch off takes place on the 3rd April 2010.
