DTT penetration 77.4%

Figures in the January newsletter from Impulsa TDT give the DTT penetration in Spain as 77.4% at the end of December.
DTT penetration was greatest in the Canary Islands and Aragon where it exceeded 85% of households.
At the end of November the total number of receiving equipments sold since the start of DTT had reached 24.2 million, increasing by 785,000 in November alone.
At the end of 2009, regional DTT coverage reached 98.11 % of the population and national SFN coverage 97.2%.
