3D transmissions on DTT network

Two audiovisual groups in the South East of Spain have begun to test 3D transmission over a DTT network, according to a report on web based Rapid TV News. The tests are taking place at the University of Murcia and require an “auto-stereoscopic monitor” to show the 3D images although it is also possible to use special screen adapters to view the signals. Special receivers are also necessary.
