Communal antenna upgrade at 61.8%

Sixty one point eight percentage of the 65,000 communal antenna systems needing to be up dated for DTT have been updated according to figures from Impulsa TDT.
The Impulsa figures also show that around 6.7 million homes already get DTT signals, amounting to a population total of 9 million and an audience share of 18.3%.
Sales of DTT boxes during September were 546,000 bringing the total of DTT receivers sold to 13 million.
Impulsa expects this figure to reach 15 million by the end of 2009 when DTT penetration should have reached 40 %.
