TDT Impulsa guarantees digital coverage before ASO

Eladio Gutiérrez, the head of the Impulsa TDT, the Spanish DTT promotions organisation, has said that the coverage of the DTT platform is guaranteed before the analogue service is switched off in 2010. However he also acknowledged that much work is needed before the analogue switch off can take place.
Many community antenna systems need to be converted to DTT and the coverage of the new service must be increased from 89% of the population to 96%.
