Pay-DTT less likely

The deputy Prime Minister, Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega, has announced that the government has “no plans” to allow for the launch of pay-DTT services.
Previously, the government had stated that it would require consensus from DTT service operators before changing the law to allow for the launch of pay-DTT services.
Despite some reluctance on Pay TV by some operators others had been going ahead and announcing plans for new services. These are now on hold indefinitely.
