Spain and Italy join forces to promote DTT

The Spanish and Italian Pro DTT Associations, Impulsa TDT and DGTVi, have signed an agreement to promote the digital migration in both countries and to seek a common strategy on the development of DTT in Europe, according to advanced-television.com
The presidents of Impulsa TDT, Eladio Gutierrez, and the DGTVi, Andrea Ambrogetti, agreed this cooperation in Lucca, Italy, during the European DTT Forum.
The agreement is also aimed at avoiding the sale of TV sets without DTT ready identification and to promote the use of DTT-based technologies in Europe.
