88% population coverage by August

According to the broadcast network operator Abertis Telecom, DTT services will reach 88% of the population by August 2008, a 2% increase on current 86% coverage figures.
By analogue switch-off in 2010, DTT services should be available to 96% of households.
Sales for DTT receivers have been strong with a total of 427,000 receivers sold in March.
