Over 7.4 million DTT receivers sold

Figures issued before the end of December show that 7.4 million DTT receivers had been sold in Spain equating to DTT access in almost one in four of Spanish homes. By the end of December it was estimated that the number of units sold would have exceeded 8 million. Although large numbers of receivers have been sold the recent figures show that only 4.6 million of these viewers are currently watching DTT programmes once a day, a market share of 9.5%.
