DVB-H implementation delayed

The launch of DVB-H mobile TV in Spain is reported to be on hold until after the general elections in March 2008. This is because the legal framework for its introduction failed to be approved by the current administration. It is now expected that the introduction of mobile TV in Spain will be delayed until the end of 2008 or the beginning of 2009.
