DTT boost for Spain

The Pro DTT Association Impulsa TDT, formed by national broadcasters and provider Abertis have signed an agreement with the electronic companies association ASIMELEC to jointly boost the development of DTT in Spain. With only three years to go before analogue switch off, in 2010, the two parties will take actions to develop the market by joint advertising campaigns and exchanging information to make the transition to digital TV possible.A similar deal was recently reached with the Electronic Industry Association AETIC.
