Government finance to convert SMATV to DTT

Government support has been announced to allow several regions to convert Satellite Master Antenna TV systems (SMATV) so that they can receive signals from the DTT platform.
In Madrid, the regional government will finance up to 50% of costs in areas covering more than 20 flats and 20-30% of costs in areas with less than 20 flats. Altogether, 700,000 households will be able to benefit from the subsidy.
Other regions to receive aid include Asturias and Catalonia.
