Pro DTT group gets new president

Jaime Castellanos, president of DTT channel Veo TV, has been appointed as the new president of Impulsa TDT, the Pro DTT Association formed by Spanish broadcasters and Abertis, to boost the development of DTT in Spain.
The news item on the advanced-television.com website goes on to say that Castellanos succeeds Joan Mayo in the post at a time when the number of DTT viewers continues to grow in Spain. The Association recently launched a massive advertising campaign to promote DTT and has asked the Government to play a more active role in the market and to inject more money to finance DTT.
