Over 2 million STB’s sold

More than 2,250,000 STB’s have been sold since Spain re-launched DTT in November 2005, reports the Advanced-television.com website.
It goes on to say that 6 million Spanish homes are currently receiving DTT and this totals 18 million people.
The General Director of Telecommunications and Information Technology is reported as saying that the latest figures prove that “Spain has overcome the DTT deadlock” reached following the demise of the Pay-TV platform Quiero.
