Europe’s DVB the ‘cheapest’ standard

Of all DTT standards in the world, the European DVB is the cheapest for the users, according to the former president of Spain’s Impulsa TDT, Eladio Gutiérrez, reports Rapid TV News.
The comments were made at the Docmontevideo documentary festival in Montevideo. He went on to say that “DVB is the most convenient for the pockets of the users because it uses the most universal technology” and “that it is working in more than 100 countries around the world and it keeps extending itself which makes the cost of the boxes cheaper for the citizens”.
