Uztelecom to expand digital TV coverage

Uzbekistan national operator Uztelecom plans to install 54 digital terrestrial TV masts by the end of 2015. The operator has already established transmitters in Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, Urgench, Nukus, Kashkadarya and Andijan, broadcasting twelve TV channels. Uztelecom has connected the transmitters to 34Mbits/s capacity links.
