DVB-I reference application

In September 2019, DVB issued a Request for Proposals (RfP) for the development and validation of a reference application for DVB-I Service Discovery and Programme Metadata. Sofia Digital was selected to undertake the development and the first client release was made available in April 2020.


DVB-I Central Service List Registry (CSR)

In June 2021, DVB issued a Request for Proposals (RfP) for the development and validation of a skeleton CSR for DVB-I. Sofia Digital was selected to undertake this work.

Experimental DVB-I service list for German FTA services

The New Technology and Standards unit at SES maintains an experimental DVB-I service list for Germany’s free-to-air services distributed from ASTRA 19.2 degrees east position. The intent is to aid the use of services lists by developers and end devices and to encourage interoperability. It is planned to enrich the service list progressively with additional features.

An express/node.js implementation of a Service List Registry as defined in clause 5.1.3.2 of the A177 specification.
