HD Forum Italia Annual Conference

The HD Forum Italia (HDFI) Annual Conference will take place on 8–9 October in Milan, held in collaboration with the Milano Audiovisual Forum (MAF). This flagship event brings together broadcasters, policymakers, and technology leaders to explore the future of media and audiovisual innovation, with Italy’s pioneering role in digital and hybrid television at the centre of discussions.

DVB’s Head of Technology, Emily Dubs, will give a keynote speech on 8 October, with the title “The evolution of the DVB standard: interoperability and innovation for the audiovisual ecosystem.” She will highlight how DVB-I keeps digital terrestrial television (DTT) strong while opening the door to innovation and hybrid delivery.
